Beware of the wide variety of illegal products that this bazar has to offer - right from pornography to stolen goods, fake designer products to pirated movie CDs. Do not buy the goods on the price quoted by the shopkeeper. One can own a product with good bargaining skills. Always bargain for 50% or more!! When in Delhi, one cannot miss to visit Sarojini Nagar market. It is a definitely a shoppers's paradise. This was my personal favourite shopping halt in Delhi. From street shopping to branded ones, Sarojini Nagar Market does not disappoint a shopper. Bargain as much as possible. You wouldnt believe that tees bought for as low as Rs. 100/- stay with me even today for years. So, the perception - "Low price, Low quality" doesnt suit well in this market. Reputed brands are available here at throwaway prices as the surplus export garments and rejected export clothing are made available in the market. Not only for women, but this market offers a lot even for men shopping like shoes, bag, clothing and many more. One can also buy fresh fruits and vegetables on the go while shopping. Sarojini Nagar is popular more for clothing (especially bridal wear and woollens during winters) and footwear. Avoid weekends as it would be too crowded.
